Library Facilities:
The library houses the University archives and a number of special collections including the Clara S. Peck Collection, the Old Medical Library, and the J. Winston Coleman Jr. Kentuckiana Collection. The library is a member of the Southeastern Library network, which provides access to the OCLC database of 47 million titles for interlibrary loan and cataloging purposes, and the Kentucky Virtual Library, which provides more than 40 online databases and a courier service to deliver materials among Kentucky libraries. The Technology Learning Center, located on the lower level of the library, offers assistance with technical projects and the Educational Resources Center, housed in the library, offers education students a teacher planning laboratory.
Museums
L.A. Brown Science Center designed to meet the demands of the university's programs in the natural sciences, computer science, and mathematics. Cowgill Center for Business, Economics, and Education includes classrooms, faculty officies, the Monroe Moosnick Medical and Science Museum, a high tech, multi-media classroom, a computer/teaching lab, and a specialized classroom for training education majors.
