Library Facilities: |
The James B. Duke Library renovation was completed in September 1999. The infrastructure of the new library was designed to accommodate changes brought about by the technological revolution in the way information is exchanged and accessed. The building is a state of the art facility with 56,553 square feet and seating for 430. The library also houses the Inez Moore Parker Archives and Research Center with a total shelving capacity of 1,260 linear feet. |
Museums |
Biddle Memorial Hall, a historical building, was constructed in 1883 and renovated in 2004. The newly renovated building houses the university administrative units. The new facility availble in the building includes new computer systems, climate conditioning, modern lighting and electrical systems, and a 600-seat auditorium. |
